This treatment is designed to address issues caused by temporal mandibular joint disorder- or TMJD. I begin by warming up the external muscles of the face (temporalis, masseter, and pterygoid). After donning a pair of nitrile gloves, I address the inside of the masseter using a combination of friction and stretching. Lastly we go all the way back to the inside of the pterygoids and that is where the magic happens. This service can be intense, so if you find yourself needing breaks at any point, that is absolutely valid.
